1st Ramadhan - Disney Cosplay Group's Fabric HuntingI know I know I skip my stories in June until the middle of August one. Later I update ok?? Right now still in mood Raya, so I think it is better to update my stories during my Ramadhan journey and Raya celebration dis year. hehe.
So, I started with
1st Ramadhan - 22nd August 2009.I've had planned about this Disney's fabric outing since 2 months before. Supposedly there are 9 members to go out there together
(except Misaki coz she is in Kelantan). But, that time, only 6 members can come - Sis Arden had high fever, Oja have to work on Saturday, and Gk.
Ej picked me at Bangi..together with Dino and Aina =) We went to Sogo which is near to Jalan Tar =D
Dat time,
H1N1 sangat berleluasa di kota raya..so we must wear mask for protection.
It was rain back then when we arrived, so we waited there jalan2 until rain stopped.
Hehe..we saw Disney boutique there...

We waited 40 minutes there for Mas and Mara to come. So lepak2 la us kat atas tempat makan.

Tapi macam kelakar pulak pakai mask time nak collect duit.
Ni Ej suh buat cm drama ah long pulak.
So buat2 mcm sedang mendesak Aina memberi wang..konon2 ah long la ni kutip utang.
"Lu kena bayar wa punya duit! Berapa lama lagi mau tunggu!"Lol kejap je. dah berdamai.
Bulan puasa en..da nak raya..kene bermaaf-maafan.
Oh serius sangat tak selesa pakai mask. Sangat berpeluh2.
Jadi bukalah T_T sekejap je semangat prevention H1N1 itu.
Do you know Sogo is my fave place during my Form4-5 time?
I used to go here a lot like how often I am to go to BB nowadays. I used to baling coin di air terjun ini dan buat wish. Ramai org buat gitu dulu. You can see a lot of coin there before. Syirik betul. wakaka.

Okay then, Mas and Mara came. This is our second time meet after Daicon event. I still dun upload my Daicon pics here. wait ok everybody. lol.

Okay. Now, we already finished searching for
Pocahontas's fabrics and also Malin's fabric for
Ej (King of Fighter cosplay group).Actually, dat time..we waited almost 30 mins to get the fabrics ready. Dat auntie there was super slow to cut da fabrics..she asked us more than 4 times about it @_@ and still..so slow. takpe2 sabar2 bulan puasa. haha

Okay now...we tried to search for Megara, Tinkerbell and Ariel fabrics. Thank god that I already bought my fabrics with Aina during Chinese New Year. Awal kan preparation kami? Haha. Coz Misaki asked me to send early my super hard costume..coz she need plenty of time to do it carefully.
I don't know why..it is super harddddd to find Megara and Tinkerbell's fabrics. Although it is easy..I think..but it took 2 hours to find yang sangat2 puas hati punya.
Megara fabric color. But I dont want the normal fabric..I think it is better to have some frill in the fabric.
I love the color!

Searching for Tinkerbell's fabric
Ni kedai yang ketiga dah.
Some of fabric dat we rejected. For tinkerbell, I prefer the green color is not too dark and too soft.
My cosplay tips!When you want to buy fabric for your costume, it is better to bring your camera together and please snap pics with the fabric that you think is good. Please use flash to decide whether that fabric is really good for YOU or not. It doesnt matter about other people, but it is important for the fabric to look super good to you. Normally, in cosplay convention, people use flash camera to take pics, so it is better to have a very good looking plus look expensive fabric..so that your cosplay pic will turn out nicer =) I just applied this method for my recent cosplay. Too bad I didnt use dis method for my second Sailormoon group. So, please try ya. It is crucial to have 'expensive look' fabric in pic. WAHAHAH.
At the same time, we tried to find Megara's fabric. Uh uh not this one! This one is for the 'belt' only.
Aina was tired and asked us to follow her to buy some shawl. Lol. Teman la dia.

Yes! We found purple frill fabric..but it was sooo transparent.. reject also!
Finally!! After 2 hours and super tired legs! I found this purple frill fabrics!
It is sooo perfect for Megara costume!!
It was a curtain's fabric actually. LOL.
Ya bagus. Sangat sesuai.

We searched more fabrics for Tinkerbell costume.
Luckily I found this super perfect green color at curtain floor in second Nagoya.
We love the color so much! =) Both Megara and Tinkerbell's fabrics were from curtain fabrics..hehe.
Oh yaa...I tried to find the suitable fabrics for
Sis Arden's costume - Jasmine. She chatted with me before..that she doesn't really think Satin is a good fabric for Jasmine. But for me, I think it is better to have Satin fabrics for certain Disney princess coz Satin look expensive LOL. And look macam betul2 princess kan kaya raya haha. But then, when I tried to find Jasmine's fabric, I found this blue soft fabrics :
And it is not Satin. This fabric is da same type like Tinkerbell's fabric.
I think Sis Arden will love this fabric..hehe =D
It is very soft, and the color is nicer. And look expensive too. Wahaha. Ya ku sgt mementingkan kain yang nampak kaya LOL.
So, Sis Arden, please buy this fabric at
Nagoya (first Nagoya after Sogo)..and the price around
RM8.80 for 1 metre if Im not mistaken. We loved this fabrics for our Jasmine =)
Lastly, we searched for Ariel's fabrics. Time ni lutut memang rasa nak tercabut.
Ada bulu2 warna di sana. I loike!
Rejected. Da fabric too thin.
Some fabrics are too soft, too light. I dont know why it is so hard to find the Ariel's pink fabrics. Maybe penat sgt time tu kot.
Also tak memuaskan hati.
Finally we bought these fabrics for Ariels. I love the pink fabrics. =)
Finished!!! Waaa leganyaaa!! Tired gila time tu!
Actually we planned to break our fast together..but then Ej have to go to her bf's house cos his bf's mom asked she to buka puasa together with her. Aina went back with Ej coz she so tired. While Mara and Maz when home for breaking fast also bila tgk plan tak jadi. Dat time we also super tired and cant think of anything. So, only me and Dino break our fast at Sogo. We had good conversation there for 2 hours lol.
Later I when back to Puncak Alam.
It was a very tiring day of first Ramadhan and I am happy to see my members cooperate with each other to find our group's fabrics =) Alhamdulillah.
