Finishing School Course : Day 1 : 7th March 2009

Today, I spent my whole day from 8 am to 6 pm at Biotech 1 for Finishing School Course. It is a compulsory course for third year student before they graduate.

Apart from my busy and tight schedule dis month, I still have to attend dis course in order to graduate.

I really thought dat dis course will be super boring coz I've been learns about presentation skills, oral speaking, resume writing and interview in my BBI (english course) last year and at Cambridge International English class before I further my studies.

Thank god, my facilitator is SUPERB! She is Dr. Sabrina from Faculty of Medical, UPM. She is a scientist in physiology field about Male Reproduction. Haha! She always told us funny and ghost stories during da class. She also love to tease us with dirty jokes. LOL. Believe me, 100% of da students here dun wan to join dis course at all and just forced to do so because of da compulsory to us. But, after Dr.Sab started Ice breaking session, I can say dat everyone so interested in dis class and laughed every minutes! I just love it very much.

Okay, for da first task, we should create a forum dat will discuss about any topic dat we like.So, we formed a group of 6 people, and tried to get da best idea.

Jasmeen and Goh said they want to talk about abuse children. To spice up da forum, I created a short sketsa of "Lakonan Semula" skit before our forum start. It is da scene of da father beat da son really ganas one. Wakaka. I laughed so hard dat time how "Adik Goh" kene tibai teruk2 dengan "Bapak Teoh".


Da forum start - me as counselor, Tham as police officer, Jasmeen as Oprah (lol!) with Adik Goh (victim) and Bapak Teoh.

For da second task, we were asked to promote any product dat we want in our best way.

Everyone come up with many idea but we stuck with da 'creative product stuff'. Dr. Sabrina said it is fine to sell something dat is not realistic.

Baiklah.

So, I gave suggestion about selling useful robots. Lol! I am just too addicted toward android + robot anime and J-drama! I just love love love so much A.I movie from Steven Spielberg, Chobits and also Zettai Kareshi drama! I tried to convince them about how creative and funny it will be to sell many types of robots there.

Types yang ada adalah Maid type, Entertainment type and Love type (I REALLY WANT LOVE TYPE ONE LIKE ZETTAI KARESHI WAKAKA!)



I just randomly picked any weird name dat can be related to those robots >_>
Amah as maid type robot coz mcm amah indonesia tu..waahhaa..and for entertainment, they want Micheal Jackson name..so I just put M.J Champion. Mengapa Champion? Kerana dia hebat LOL. And R.J Sayang for love type (dah bingung tak cukup masa time ni) R.J tu stand for Romeo and Juliet. LOL.

Actually, for Love type, I want to put Night Series just like Zettai Kareshi..or specifically for Sex type one...but all of my group members said too open and they really amat bersopan..so..ku cuba tulis function as sextoy kepada ayat sopan "Happy Night Life". Wtf is happy night life. Lol. Apparently everyone get da idea. Haha.

Okay >_< Dats all for today. I am super tired. I want to sleep for a while before wake up again to finish my Protein Folding presentation and Fermentation Lab Report tonight. I MUST FINISH IT TODAY!

Tomorrow will be da last day for our Finishing School course. I hope for da interesting day tomorrow!

Sensory Food Test at Faculty of Food Science and Technology

Today - March 4, 2009.

After I finished my presentation about Batch Culture in Fermentation Technology class, Jeya and Basit invited me to go to Foodtech faculty. Today, their friends from dis course are having Sensory Food Test so they need 60 people to complete this test within 2 hours from 9 am to 11 am.

I am so excited because this is first time dat I joined Sensory Food Test.

So, I followed them xD

In Sensory Food Test room, each person will have to sit in one small cube

Like in da election place. Hoho

And then, we must turn on both light. One is yellow light, and the other one is our cube light.


When the yellow light is turn on,

Foodtech student will give sample foods together with survey form from small black window. I took dis pic after I finished my food test xD

So, for today Sensory Food Test, we have to test about various type of Instant Noodles.

Got 4 samples today and we have to taste it all and give mark to each sample. Jeya and Basit said, normally they conducted different kinds of food test every 2 weeks. Last 2 weeks, they tested out about breakfast food types. Hoho very interesting.

Jeya teached me that before we eat da sample, we must first smell da food's odor, and then taste one by one for da evaluation to be precise.


I've just finished my test within 5 mins. Hehe.

Qualities that they looked for are odor, texture, color and taste. I like da spicy type one =)

Hehe. Finished! I really love dis kind of experience~! Ku teruja! Wakaka! Thanks Jeya and Basit! Make sure invite me again next time! Hoho!


Random story :

Back to college, I bought Vegetarian food for my lunch. For da past 1 year, I always divided my food intake per week like : 6 days of normal foods and 1 day of Vegetarian food.

For someone dat dun take many vegetables and fruits daily, I tried dis method to ensure that at least one day per week I have to eat all vegetables without meat or chicken for whole day. =)

Malam Anugerah Gemilang Biomix: 20th February 2009

Okay. =) Now let me story about my faculty night on 20th February 2009.

Right after my Seminar class on 5.00 pm, I went back to my room at College 14.And I slept for 30 mins before I get ready for my dinner.

I saw dat my hair already not realy curly dat time..not like in da saloon...and some of them already straight back T_T. Because kena peluh kepala and my curly2 side fringe dat hair stylist did already messy coz I wore tudung + peluh + sleeping >_>

I am sooooo worry dat time coz da curly so messy..aiseh..dis is my first time dealing with curly hair apart from my real hair before I rebonding year by year.

So, I asked my roomate helped, Min to tidy up my hair..and by using my own curler (oh I already bought curling iron for 1 year already back then with GK but until now I dun really used it). So, I make some curl again for some hair dat already straight..and...because of my side fringe already dun have curl..I tried to make full fringe and straighten it with my straightener. Ku akhirnya tetap mahu kan full fringe. Nyehehe.

Within 40 mins, I rushed took bath, do hair, gosok baju and make up. I looked like Datin already!!! >_>

As u know, I dun have car..and I have to use UPM bus to go to Faculty Modern Language. They provide bus at 6 pm to 7.30 pm. So I went to bus stop with my Datin look at 7.20 pm >_> I dragged my rommate Min to teman me coz I am too shy >_>.

At bus stop Kolej Serumpun, I called AJK transportation..and he said...actually they just provide normal UPM bus dat we always used to go to class. Ku berasa asing memakai aneh2 di dalam bus org ke kelas. Ajk pengangkutan itu, so caring and chatted a lot with me while we waiting for bus to move.

After arrived, another junior..looked up for me at bus station - after AJK pengangkutan (ku menyesal tidak tanya namanya..>_> sangat baik budak itu) asked his friend - another Ajk for dis dinner to help me to go to da hall.

Dat time already 7.45pm and mostly everyone still not coming (mereka memiliki kereta dan mudah ke mana2 pada bila2 masa saja..sobsob). So, dat junior asked me to wait first and he came back to me after 10mins (lol..aku tgu di tandas aku kesunyian tiada teman tatkala itu..yani jugak tidak datang malam diner =( )Dis junior also so kind to me =)


Oh okay2...at da hall...after 5 mins, I saw Zul, Shawal and Syafiq came to my table.

I just know about it a week after dis dinner - on Protein Engineering lab - he asked Zul whether he bring new girlfriend at da dinner..Zul said dat girl is me >_> Sampai hati doktor tidak mengenali ku. Sobsob. He said my face looked familiar but cannot cam...maybe coz I always went to class comot2 dengan tudung itam kegemaran selalu tanpa make up yang menampakkan wajah tak mandi walaupun mandi dan pucat ku T_T.

He is super kind, super caring, super great friend dat helped me a lot for da past 2 years and a half and still help me until now. Without him, I dun think I can survive in UPM. T_T. He always teached me any subjects in Biotech and sgt patient melayan karenah ku di UPM. May Allah bless him in life coz he is super super great friend I ever had!

Oh yea..my Faculty of Biotechnology and Science BioMolecule actually have 3 majors only - Biotechnoogy (of course!), Biochemistry and Microbiology xD. Da one and only Faculty of Biotechnology in Malaysia and I really proud of it =) Alhamdulillah.

Penghuni College 14 from Biotechnology course.

Most of Biotech batch stayed in College 2. I stayed in College 14 coz I had transfered from UMS so came late here...so kene ke Kolej2 Serumpun.
Same with Zul dat is from Asasi Pertanian UPM. He also joined Biotech in Second Sem just like me. Kerana itu juga kami rapat bersama.


Dis girl realllly beautiful! She is Microbiology 2nd year student, Izzatul. I dunno her actually. LOL. But dat night, I really love her face and outfit. Her make up is so beautiful.

Ku telah menjadi seperti Aina di mana jika terjumpa mana2 wanita cantik, cuba tangkap gamba dengannya. Haha. She really shy coz I always puji2 her dat night. Anda memang lawa, adik!

My friends and I from Kolej2 serumpun waited at Bus stop to go back to our hostel. And dat time already 12 pm..and AJK pengangkutan yg tolong ku awal2 itu bantu ku sekali lagi utk dapatkan bus balik ke kolej. Terima kasih banyak2! jasamu kukenang wpun namamu ku tidak tau sampai kini T_T.

Most of my friend asked whether I go and back with car. >_> Percayalah ku menaiki bus saja pergi dan balik. Yang balik best sbb ramai2 balik although bus driver only stopped by at College 13 and dun wan to send us until College 14. Amat kejam kau.

I arrived at my room around 12.30pm. Phew~ What a wonderful+tired day~!

I really really feel happy dat night coz dat is my first and only dat I joined Facnite at UPM during my studies here. Hehe. Thanks Zul coz took a lot of my pictures dat night and sangat2 mintak maaf coz terjatuhkan air oren di atas kamera mu T_T AKU MASIH RASA AMAT BERSALAH. wpun pakcik yang tuang air tu sudah lari awal2. sobsob.

End of February 2009

I had a very wonderful week!! Apart from dis entry, actually I've been to MOSTI, Putrajaya, had Biotech batch pictures and also visited Muzium Negara with my family. I really had so much fun this week! Alhamdulillah =D

So..here some random update regarding my awesome week (apart from what I mention above ..will update it later in separate entry ^^)

Escaping goat.

On the way to go to Dr. Adam's class : Protein Engineering...I saw something unfamiliar crossing da road...

LOL! Its a goat!!!

WAKAKA! How come he can escape from his place!!!

For you information, my Biotech 3 building is at da back of Veterinary Faculty of UPM. Got equestrian for horse, goat and cow there. So everyday, I will walk beside this equestrian before I reach my Biotech building.

Between 30 second..suddenly got one guy tried to catch da escaping goat.

Wakaka! Aku sgt terhibur!

Kambing itu berlari dan terus berlari. Haha.

Dah sampai penghujung dah. Jauh gila dia lari. Lelaki itu pn tak larat kejar.

Until his friend come and both of them menarik ekor dia dan bawak balik ke kandang.

Wahaha! U make my day, goat! Hokhok!

Oh..dis one...blue screen problem dat I've face for more than 2 month already T_T.

Highpoint service center said they couldnt find this blue error when they tried to run test for my laptop. So they have to close case and send it back to me. But after I used it for 3-4 days, da blue screen appeared again..and I snapped a picture and showed it to them. So, they agree to change my RAM. >_< I really hope my laptop can function very without having any problem after this. Amin.

Right now, I'm waiting for selection result from Department of Biotechnology.

Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB)

I started to put aside 1/4 of my JPA money in ASN starting dis sem.

1/4 for saving, 1/4 for semester fee, 1/4 for daily use in UPM for one sem and 1/4 for my pocket money.

I hope to save more money next semester. 2/4 for saving, I wish. Insya Allah.

Ku perlu laksanakan penabungan untuk masa depan starting from now..I must.

On Friday.

I came to Biotech 3 to do my final project. Dat day I supposed to finish my AO/PI and Trypan Blue for 72 hour.

While waiting and chatting with Odeng and Syin Ying, suddenly Fatin came dengan keadaan sgt kerisauan..she said she saw super big tortoise beside her car. She really scared.

I AM SO EXCITED AND CURIOUS. SO I dragged Odeng and Syin Ying to come there together.

OHHH SGT BESAR KURA2NYA!

Odeng managed to see his head. But Syin Ying and me dun have chance coz we walked a bit slow T_T. Dia sudah menyelamatkan kepalanya dalam cengkerangnya. Uhuk.

Damn big. I dunno where he come from.

Dia hidup. Seperti batu keras.

Believe or not. We waited for more than 30 mins to see its head but it never go out >_>

I put it on top of paper bag..and planning to carry it back to my house. But I afraid mom and dad dun wan it..so I just put it there.

While waiting for trypsinized cells, I went outside to see it...BUT DA BIG TORTOISE ALREADY GONE! I searched everywhere but couldn't find it. I suspect someone must take it somewhere T_T coz there is no where it can run fast from that place..after all..itu kan sang kura2. Wu. T_T.

Ikea time!

Yesterday, I went to Ikano Ikea with my family.

I love MEATBALL dishes there! SANGAT SEDAP OMG SGT SEDAP KU PERGI BELI 2 KALI. >_>

Hekhek. At Ikea. Mom and dad love to collect furniture from Ikea.

Impian ku memiliki rumah ku sendiri in the future yang mempunyai kelengkapan dan perabot Ikea.

We went to Popular to buy my bro's reference book.

Mom asked my help to find good books for him. He will having PMR examination this year. GANBATTE ADIK! xD Awak boleh!!

After that..we stopped by at Safari shop. xD

Ku tak tau mengapa mereka bersempit2 tidur bersama2..kan banyak lagi ruang di sebelah kanan? Adakah utk memanaskan badan bersama? Atau keakraban mereka melampaui segala2nya?


I had a great time yesterday. Thanks dad, mom, pdos and Is. xD Alhamdulillah.

Hidupku penuh dengan warna warni haiwan. Hidup yg penuh kebinatangan. Erk. Dah lain macam bunyinya >_> ! Hidup yang diliputi haiwan2? Wakaka.

Curl-curl curly baby xD

Lastweek, 20th February 2009, Friday.

Supposedly I planning to go to any random Sri Serdang saloon to style my hair for my FacNite dat night, but...on Thursday, my laptop broken down AGAIN. With da same problem again! So early in the morning on Friday, I went to Times Square to send my laptop again for warranty and at da same time looking for saloon to style my hair.

I pujuk Dino to come teman me T_T. She agreed and come to see me. Yay!

I want to make temporary curl hair today! xD Auu auu~

Orang ini sangat pandai mencuci rambut T_T Ku terasa amat in heaven bila dia cucikan rambutku. Ahhhh~~ (lol!)

Dis is my first time make curly style for my hair! Ku sgt setia dengan rambut lurus (rebonding) selama ini.

At first, they tried to make big curl for my hair.

And I really like it! Ku mahu nampak anggun bergaya! Oh oh!

But but but....later..they said...big curl doesn't last long for my hair coz my hair too straight (because of rebonding). So, they have to make small curl for my hair so dat I still can have my curl during night on FacNite. They worry dat if they give me big curl..it can last only for 2-3 hours only. T_T

And it turn out to be like this.

OH NO!!!! DAH MACAM XIAO HUA DALAM CERITA MISS NO GOOD! I DOOOOOOOOONTTTT WAAAANNNNTTT!!!

Dino tegelak2 time tu. Lol. Dia cakap "Baguslah Xiao Hua, ada Tang Mun style kan rambut ko!" Ah sudah. Ku tidak mauuu.

Hair stylists there insisted me to be patient for a while coz they said they will make my hair look gorgeous tonight. (I DUN BELIEVE IT DAT TIME!) What I see is what I believe! LOL.

After finished,

Auu auu...nampak lawa pulak. Wakaka.

My hair turned out to be very nice. Eventhough with small curly.

Dino said I looked like Michiru (Sailor Neptune) already. Hoho!

Terasa Datin. Ya Datin Hashimah. LOL.

I asked them to give me layer fringe coz I dun like to see my forehead.

But they said if do like this lagi nampak seksi. Baiklah. Tp ku mmg suka menutup dahi ku T_T Dat time I still curious how come dis curly curly hair is great for my FacNite. They said believe in them coz eventually my curl will jatuh nanti menjelang malam. Baiklah T_T Aku amat mahu nampak jelita malam itu T_T.

I arrived at UPM around 3.30 pm >_> Already late 30 mins for my Seminar class. I covered my curly hair with my tudung in class. Tudungku mengembang dgn rambut curl didalamnya..ahahha.

Berdebar2 utk malam itu. Dub dab dub dab.
