Hello hello~ Long time didnt write here. I just finished 14 weeks of my last sem~! *hurrey~~~~* Alhamdulillah. And dis week is my study week. So normally for 2-3 days, I will spent my time to rest..rest...rest...and rest..haha
So today, I suppose to study for my Calculus final exam this Saturday~ Hoho.
Before that, let me update something for you guys ^_^
Last 11th Oct, I had my Raya open house and invited my closed friends for makan2.
So, on 10th Oct, I prepared all foods for guests...with great help from mom and grandma =)

Kacang yang ditumbuk untuk buat Kuah Kacang...and kacang tanah yang digoreng untuk aksesori soto ayam..haha..And last pic is nasi impit...masakkan selama 3 jam..Ingat ye...mesti 3 jam ke atas..untuk kelembutan yang berpanjangan..haha..
Then, dis time, I tried new recipe for Soto Ayam..

What is interesting about this recipe, it used santan (coconut milk) as one of da ingredient~
I think the person that invented this recipe is very very genius. We never thot to put santan in our soto. But the outcome is very very great. Normally, the sup part...is sup ayam kan..but dis time..memang rasa kuah soto..hoho..

RESIPI SOTO AYAM SEDAP

Bahan-bahan ( 12 orang )
* 6 bungkus lontong ADABI yang telah dimasak
* 2 ekor ayam, dibelah empat
* 3 - 4 liter air
* 1 cawan santan pekat
* 1/2 cawan serbuk ketumbar
* 2 sudu teh serbuk jintan halus
* 2 sudu teh serbuk lada putih
* 3 batang serai, dititik
* lengkuas sebesar ibu jari, dititik
* 1 batang kayu manis
* 1 kuntum bunga lawang
* 4 biji buah pelaga
* 5 tangkai bunga cengkih
* garam secukup rasa
* 1 cawan minyak untuk menumis
Bahan untuk Dikisar
* 3 biji bawang besar
* 2 ulas bawang putih
* 1 inci halia
* 1 inci kunyit hidup
Bahan untuk Sambal Kicap
* 5 batang lada merah
* 20 biji lada padi merah thai
* 2 ulas bawang putih
* 1/2 cawan kicap lemak manis
(I tried this for my open house..but I think I better with other recipe for Sambal Kicap..the one that my mom always made for me)
Cara-cara
1. Panaskan minyak didalam periuk. Masukkan rempah tumis (kayu manis, bunga lawang, buah pelaga dan bunga cengkih) bersama serai dan lengkusa yang telah dititik. Tumis rempah yang telah dikisar sehingga naik bau. Masukkan serbuk ketumbar, jintan halus dan lada putih, gaul hingga sebati. Masukkan santan gaul sebati dan tuangkan air dan masukkan ayam. Masak sehingga kuahnya mendidih dan ayam masak.
2. Cara membuat Sambal Kicap - Kesemua bahan itu masukkan kedalam alat pengisar dan kisar halus. Sedia untuk digunakan.
3. Cara menghidang - Potong lontong dadu besar dan letakkan daging ayam yang telah disiat bersama taugeh dan tuang kuahnya. Hiaskan dengan daun sup, bawang goreng, bergedil dan sambal kicap.

I'm so grateful because my mom came all the way from Puncak Alam to help me cook for my open house. My dad spent his money for all the ingredients that I need to cook. And my grandma with my mom helped me alot. Both of them always teached me in cooking. They are really my inspiration to learn cooking more and more.
Oh yeah..dis is my favourite part.

Do you know how much I love begedil? I love to make them every week..hehe.
Oh dis time, my Dad couldn't find minced beef Ramly..so we need to do our own minced beef

And put inside the fridge.
The next day, put into eggs..and fried it.

And dis is Kuah Lontong dat my grandma made.

I still dun master both recipe for Kuah Kacang and Kuah Lontong. My mom teached me to make Kuah Kacang every Raya..but still, its hard to cope up with the recipe. T_T. No wonder most of my auntie still cant make it wpun dah berpuluh2 tahun. I must learn it well before 23 years old T_T
Oh yes..dis is da finished products.lol. I just snapped two pics only because I am so busy to make all foods from yesterday till the morning..and only slept for 3 hours.

Oh makanan ku. lol.
Hehe.
