I had a question about your wig and extensions. Did you order them online? I plan on cosplaying Fuu for my next anime convention and I really liked how your wig came out.

Dear ditlecorbeau,

For my Fuu's wig - I bought it locally in my place at Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - for da wig and also da extensions.

But currently I started my own wig business with da great help of my supplier in Taiwan.

Da quality are really great and normally it is custom made for da specific character. Unlike those online wig shop dat sell ready stock wig only. I am very very strict about da quality when it comes about wig, you know =)

But, for your question, and from what I read in your blog, its seems dat you need da wig in a very short and limit time.

So I suggested you to just buy any long straight dark brown wig - estimate length is around 70-80 cm. - just like my Fuu's wig.

And for da extension one, please picked up a long straight dark brown ponytail extension type - make sure the color of your extension is da same like ur wig to match it together.


I believe dat for dis type of hair wig color and style, you don't need a custom-made wig one, coz it is really easy to search for a natural wig color like dis in any wig shop. It is not dat I stop you from buying it online, but for dis kind of wig, I believe you can get it cheaper just to search for it at any accessories @ wig shops around your area. It will be more cheaper than buying online (coz of da additional of shipping). If for other cosplay wigs, I think you can buy it online. =)

You may asked, How to tied up da ponytail extension? And styled it to be Fuu's hair bun?


I just had a few pictures about it for examples - from my last years event.

As you can see from da picture below, my beloved friend, Intan, just put da ponytail at da back of my wig. She tied up my wig first - so dat it won't look very messy.


So, what she did is, she comb my wig very straight first, pull my wig slowly and tied it up by using da ponytail extension. After that, she tried to make da bun from dat extension nicely.



I think da hardest part about styling dis wig is how to make da bun bigger and not to be messy. Intan spent more than 1 hours everytime she helped me to wear this wig. It requires a great patience.

Please asked your friend to help you style dis Fuu's wig. It is really hard to do it by urself. =)
